| PROCEDURE OF JOINING THE GUILD |

| The Film & Television Producers Guild of India Ltd. (“Guild”) is one of the premier autonomous non-profit film trade bodies in the Indian cinematic panorama comprising stakeholders of the industry. Membership to the Guild is granted on an exclusive invitational basis, the process being as follows:- |

1.Membership Form - Membership form can be obtained by writing to Guild office.
2.Recommendation from a Member of Guild Council of Management. – The interested producer must produce a letter of support from atleast one member of Guild Council of Management.
3.Ratification of the Chief Executive Officer – The application is then forwarded to the Guild CEO who, after thorough introspection, routs the same to the Guild President
4.Final stamp of approval – The President thereafter, scrutinizes the application meticulously and after considering the pros and cons, takes a call at his discretion, whether to accept the same or not. The nod of approval from the President is regarded as the absolute seal of consent and the most important stage in the membership process.
5.Receipt of application with cheque and other documents - The producer is then required to furnish cheque to the tune of Rs.1,15,000/- in favour of The Film & Television Producers Guild of India Ltd. (One time Entrance Fees – Rs.15,000, Subscription renewable every year Rs.1,00,000) along with other relevant documents such as
I. Membership Form with the requisite information duly filled
II. Copy of Memorandum and Articles of Association (in case of a company)
III.Copy of Partnership Deed (In case of Partnership)
IV. Passport Size Photographs (2 nos.) - one for Membership Card and the other for Guild Secretariat’s records.
6. Subsequently, the Guild formally sends a letter and membership card to the concerned producer endorsing his membership in the Guild family. |
